Narrative:
ATC facility: cordaba. Location: mtq VOR, en route. Flight attendants reported a burning electrical smell with a haze in the cabin. The smell traveled into the cockpit and we accomplished the red box and emergency checklist. An emergency was declared and diversion to asu. 15000 pounds of fuel was dumped 80 mi west of asu (asuncion, paraguay) at 10000 ft. An overweight landing at 330000 pounds with minimum sink rate at landing. Emergency equipment on ground confirmed no fire or smoke and normal taxi to gate was made.
