Narrative:
Sequenced to land on hnl runway 4R after a B737. Was concentrating on avoiding wake turbulence and failed to extend landing gear. Attempted go around upon realizing gear not extended, but not in time to avoid propeller strike. Made go around and uneventful landing on hnl runway 26L after declaring emergency. Incident would have been prevented had I not allowed a distraction to interrupt a vital check/xchk flow procedure.
