Narrative:

Putting the NDB approach out of the FMS shows minimums considerably lower than the minimums published on the actual approach plate. This can lead a crew into thinking that the lower minimums are acceptable when they only apply to specially trained crews. More emphasis should be placed on these differences.

Title: G-IV FLC QUESTIONS VARIATION BTWN APCH PLATE MINIMUMS AND FMC MINIMUMS.

Narrative: PUTTING THE NDB APCH OUT OF THE FMS SHOWS MINIMUMS CONSIDERABLY LOWER THAN THE MINIMUMS PUBLISHED ON THE ACTUAL APCH PLATE. THIS CAN LEAD A CREW INTO THINKING THAT THE LOWER MINIMUMS ARE ACCEPTABLE WHEN THEY ONLY APPLY TO SPECIALLY TRAINED CREWS. MORE EMPHASIS SHOULD BE PLACED ON THESE DIFFERENCES.
