Narrative:
Getting ready to take cart out for beverage service. I was #2 flight attendant in galley when captain called with chimes. Flight attendant #4 answered interphone, was told we had engine problem and we were returning to den. Told it would be normal landing and prepare cabin for landing. Captain did not tell us he had declared an emergency landing. Flight attendants were not aware of that until flight attendant manager called us in denver to see if we were ok.
