Narrative:
On 07/tue/02 I was informed captain's oxygen regulator hose was not installed on oxygen quick disconnect. I performed operations check on oxygen system with technician Y on jul/fri/02. Performed test many times, system operated correctly on each function. Aircraft was in hangar a week after check with many maintenance personnel in cockpit. Many panels were displaced for other maintenance during this time.

Title: AN MD80 WAS RELEASED FOR SVC WITH THE CAPT'S OXYGEN HOSE REGULATOR FOUND MISSING. ALL JOB CARDS INDICATE SEVERAL OXYGEN SYS CHKS MADE AND SIGNED OFF.
Narrative: ON 07/TUE/02 I WAS INFORMED CAPT'S OXYGEN REGULATOR HOSE WAS NOT INSTALLED ON OXYGEN QUICK DISCONNECT. I PERFORMED OPS CHK ON OXYGEN SYS WITH TECHNICIAN Y ON JUL/FRI/02. PERFORMED TEST MANY TIMES, SYS OPERATED CORRECTLY ON EACH FUNCTION. ACFT WAS IN HANGAR A WK AFTER CHK WITH MANY MAINT PERSONNEL IN COCKPIT.
