Narrative:
After leveloff, we noticed left center fuel tank pump was not working properly. This was causing a fuel imbalance (in wing tanks). We communicated with dispatch our desire to divert to egll, which we did. We dumped fuel, but still landed over maximum allowable landing weight (344000 versus 320000 pounds). Because of that, I requested emergency equipment to stand by. Followed SOP. Uneventful landing.

Title: B767-300 CREW HAD THE CTR FUEL TANK NOT FEED FUEL PROPERLY.
Narrative: AFTER LEVELOFF, WE NOTICED L CTR FUEL TANK PUMP WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. THIS WAS CAUSING A FUEL IMBALANCE (IN WING TANKS). WE COMMUNICATED WITH DISPATCH OUR DESIRE TO DIVERT TO EGLL, WHICH WE DID. WE DUMPED FUEL, BUT STILL LANDED OVER MAX ALLOWABLE LNDG WT (344000 VERSUS 320000 LBS).
