Narrative:
Hydraulic low pressure light came on en route. I had conversation with maintenance and dispatch. We had fluid, but right engine hydraulic pump appeared intermittent. We handled the problem per SOP. On approach to gdl, I tried lowering gear and nothing happened. I declared an emergency and was able to lower gear per SOP and land uneventfully. Maintenance put gear pins in and towed us to the gate.
