Narrative:
The aircraft showed up approximately 20 mins prior to departure. Although it was afternoon, it was the first flight of the day for the aircraft. I checked the security paperwork, however I missed placing the entry into the E6. This was due to the rushing to comply. In addition to the normal duties, we also had a sky-marshall briefing, a first flight of the day preflight and a more complicated departure briefing that we had not flown before. While we were trying to complete our cockpit checks, the ground supervisor questioned why we had not started our pushback. It appears that the ground people think that if the jetbridge is pulled we are ready. This is not the case in these types of sits. Although rushing to comply is not acceptable, the distractions and constant push certainly contributes to an environment created to generate mistakes.
