Narrative:
During our breakfast service, we experienced mild turbulence due to hurricane/tropical depression. The seatbelt sign was on, but after several calls to the cockpit, we were told it was safe to continue our service duties. We hit a severe chop. Carts came off the floor, drinks spilled, items fell off the counter in the galley. The flight attendants either sat in passenger seat or their jump seat immediately. 2 flight attendants in the main cabin were hurt when cart came off the floor. I called the cockpit and was told that they had not seen anything on the radar. Ice was put on flight attendant's injury. We landed shortly after.
