Narrative:

I issued instructions to taxi to runway 25R intersection D. I was unfamiliar with the airport and requested progressive taxi instructions. Ground controller issued instructions. I requested the location of run-up area. Controller told me run-up was up 100 ft to left. I pulled plane into run-up area at the end of runway 25R. After completing the run-up, I contacted tower for IFR release. Tower cleared me for takeoff. Tower then called for me to abort takeoff. Takeoff was aborted. I checked final for crossing runway 30, and noted airbus on 2 mi final. Airbus landed and rolled past intersection. Then I was cleared for takeoff. The near incursion was caused because I was not clear where intersection D was located. Also the ground and tower controllers should have known that I was not at intersection D.

I REQUESTED THE LOCATION OF RUN-UP AREA. CTLR TOLD ME RUN-UP WAS UP 100 FT TO L. I PULLED PLANE INTO RUN-UP AREA AT THE END OF RWY 25R. AFTER COMPLETING THE RUN-UP, I CONTACTED TWR FOR IFR RELEASE. TWR CLRED ME FOR TKOF. TWR THEN CALLED FOR ME TO ABORT TKOF. TKOF WAS ABORTED. I CHKED FINAL FOR XING RWY 30, AND NOTED AIRBUS ON 2 MI FINAL. AIRBUS LANDED AND ROLLED PAST INTXN. THEN I WAS CLRED FOR TKOF. THE NEAR INCURSION WAS CAUSED BECAUSE I WAS NOT CLR WHERE INTXN D WAS LOCATED. ALSO THE GND AND TWR CTLRS SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT I WAS NOT AT INTXN D.
