Narrative:
Evasive action was taken to avoid midair with C172 that encroached the departure corridor of runway 7L. Our clearance was runway heading to 5000 ft. C172 was encroaching departure corridor but I had a visual and started slow left turn. C172 then began a sharp left turn into our flight path. Received TA, then RA. Started immediate descent to avoid aircraft.

Narrative: EVASIVE ACTION WAS TAKEN TO AVOID MIDAIR WITH C172 THAT ENCROACHED THE DEP CORRIDOR OF RWY 7L. OUR CLRNC WAS RWY HEADING TO 5000 FT. C172 WAS ENCROACHING DEP CORRIDOR BUT I HAD A VISUAL AND STARTED SLOW L TURN. C172 THEN BEGAN A SHARP L TURN INTO OUR FLT PATH. RECEIVED TA, THEN RA. STARTED IMMEDIATE DSCNT TO AVOID ACFT.
