Narrative:
On sep/thu/02 during flight, the cockpit called to use the lavatory and was told by #3 flight attendant that it was clear for his use. As soon as the cockpit door was being opened, a passenger didn't comply with #3 flight attendant's request to remain seated until after the cockpit crew used the facilities. Instead, this passenger pushed flight attendant #3 out of the way and went directly to the lavatory. #3 flight attendant had to shut the cockpit door on the captain and explain what happened. Zero tolerance from such passenger should be applied for safety and security reasons. This passenger was written up by me, but she needs to be warned by the airlines that such behavior will not be tolerated again for safety and security reasons. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter had been serving in the rear of coach just prior to this incident. She advised #3 flight attendant to advise the captain of the situation and ask for security at destination airport. She was not aware of any outcome other than reported as the crew had all 'melted away' after arrival at lax. Reporter had lectured the passenger and was told that she did not want to deal with this issue, and that she was going to report the flight attendant to company.

Title: A FEMALE PAX PUSHES A MALE FLT ATTENDANT OUT OF HER WAY WHEN SHE TAKES PRECEDENCE OVER USING THE LAVATORY AS THE CAPT WAS EMERGING FROM THE COCKPIT FOR PERSONAL REASONS DURING CRUISE NE OF LAX, CA.
Narrative: ON SEP/THU/02 DURING FLT, THE COCKPIT CALLED TO USE THE LAVATORY AND WAS TOLD BY #3 FLT ATTENDANT THAT IT WAS CLR FOR HIS USE. AS SOON AS THE COCKPIT DOOR WAS BEING OPENED, A PAX DIDN'T COMPLY WITH #3 FLT ATTENDANT'S REQUEST TO REMAIN SEATED UNTIL AFTER THE COCKPIT CREW USED THE FACILITIES. INSTEAD, THIS PAX PUSHED FLT ATTENDANT #3 OUT OF THE WAY AND WENT DIRECTLY TO THE LAVATORY. #3 FLT ATTENDANT HAD TO SHUT THE COCKPIT DOOR ON THE CAPT AND EXPLAIN WHAT HAPPENED. ZERO TOLERANCE FROM SUCH PAX SHOULD BE APPLIED FOR SAFETY AND SECURITY REASONS. THIS PAX WAS WRITTEN UP BY ME, BUT SHE NEEDS TO BE WARNED BY THE AIRLINES THAT SUCH BEHAVIOR WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AGAIN FOR SAFETY AND SECURITY REASONS. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR HAD BEEN SERVING IN THE REAR OF COACH JUST PRIOR TO THIS INCIDENT. SHE ADVISED #3 FLT ATTENDANT TO ADVISE THE CAPT OF THE SIT AND ASK FOR SECURITY AT DEST ARPT. SHE WAS NOT AWARE OF ANY OUTCOME OTHER THAN RPTED AS THE CREW HAD ALL 'MELTED AWAY' AFTER ARR AT LAX. RPTR HAD LECTURED THE PAX AND WAS TOLD THAT SHE DID NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH THIS ISSUE, AND THAT SHE WAS GOING TO RPT THE FLT ATTENDANT TO COMPANY.
