Aircraft X data block inadvertently dropped off scope, was instructed to cross cetus intersection at 12000 ft. Aircraft Y was at 13000 ft, was descended to 12000 ft. Conflict alert went off and action was taken to separate traffic. Data block inadvertently dropped off scope by the d-side controller.

Narrative: ACFT X DATA BLOCK INADVERTENTLY DROPPED OFF SCOPE, WAS INSTRUCTED TO CROSS CETUS INTXN AT 12000 FT. ACFT Y WAS AT 13000 FT, WAS DSNDED TO 12000 FT. CONFLICT ALERT WENT OFF AND ACTION WAS TAKEN TO SEPARATE TFC. DATA BLOCK INADVERTENTLY DROPPED OFF SCOPE BY THE D-SIDE CTLR.
