Narrative:
Engine fire on pushback. No indication of fire in cockpit. Ground crew indicated to shut down engine, then told us about the fire. We proceeded with an abort start checklist and motored the engine. The ramp said we still had fire. We used the epc engine fire checklist and shot both bottles. Flight attendants and passenger were informed and evacuate/evacuation was performed. Damage to aircraft unknown. Injuries to passenger unknown.

Title: AN E145 CREW, EXPERIENCING AN ENG FIRE DURING PUSHBACK AT BOS, INITIATED ENG SHUTDOWN, FOLLOWED BY THE ENG FIRE CHKLIST. THE FIRE WAS ULTIMATELY EXTINGUISHED BY DISCHARGING BOTH FIRE EXTINGUISHER BOTTLES.
Narrative: ENG FIRE ON PUSHBACK. NO INDICATION OF FIRE IN COCKPIT. GND CREW INDICATED TO SHUT DOWN ENG, THEN TOLD US ABOUT THE FIRE. WE PROCEEDED WITH AN ABORT START CHKLIST AND MOTORED THE ENG.
