Narrative:
Flight XXXX ord-ric departed ord at XB47Z. New ric XB00 forecast was entered first at approximately XA20Z, and did not require alternate for flight. Approximately 19 mins later, ric forecast was amended and entered again at approximately XA39Z, with (temporary XB16 4 SM rainshowers, broken 1200, overcast 5000) and station requiring an alternate. Shift turnover occurred at approximately XA50Z, and amendment to forecast went unnoticed during shift changeover. Flight XXXX departed to ric at XB47Z without alternate. Ric WX fluctuated with ceilings till about XC00Z, but sequence was missed by dispatcher on duty at time. Another amendment to ric forecast occurred at XD22Z (went into system at approximately XD26Z) 006 broken in main body of forecast till XF00Z which drew attention to review ric WX again, and at this time ric WX was 600 overcast 9 mi, but did not contact flight at this time due to flight appeared to be close to scheduled landing time. Flight landed ric without alternate that was required.
