Narrative:
Took off with 1700 pounds in center tanks, tanks off. Approximately 10 mins after takeoff, turned ctrs on and asked first officer to help monitor. Got busy and didn't turn off center tanks until 680 pounds. Bled down to 430 pounds. Rest of flight uneventful. FAA inspector on jumpseat. He had no comments after landing.

Title: A B737700 TOOK OFF WITH 1700 LBS IN CTR TANK. TURNED CTR PUMPS ON AND BURNED DOWN TO 430 LBS. CREW SUSPECTS VIOLATION OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE 2002-19-52.
Narrative: TOOK OFF WITH 1700 LBS IN CTR TANKS, TANKS OFF. APPROX 10 MINS AFTER TKOF, TURNED CTRS ON AND ASKED FO TO HELP MONITOR. GOT BUSY AND DIDN'T TURN OFF CTR TANKS UNTIL 680 LBS. BLED DOWN TO 430 LBS. REST OF FLT UNEVENTFUL. FAA INSPECTOR ON JUMPSEAT. HE HAD NO COMMENTS AFTER LNDG.
