Narrative:

On initial climb out of sdf on dec/sun/02, PNF captain induced a false baggage extinguisher fire warning indication by mistakenly selecting the APU fire detection test button, in which the warning continued to stay illuminated in error. Then captain pressed the baggage extinguisher button which discharged the agent. Following, we pressed the APU fire detection button again which cleared the false baggage warning and was then presented with the baggage extinguisher bottle inoperative message on the EICAS. The crew consulted the aom and followed the appropriate checklist and then contacted maintenance center. The aircraft was written up and met with maintenance at ord. The rest of the flight was normal.
