Narrative:

While holding short on the south side of runway 27R at fll, my first officer and I received a clearance from the tower to position and hold on runway 27R, and that there was an aircraft on a 5 mi final. My first officer read the clearance back to the tower and was not acknowledged. After crossing the hold short line, we noticed an aztec crossing the hold short line on the opposite side of the approach end of the runway. At that point, my first officer called the tower to confirm our clearance to the position and hold runway 27R. The tower advised us to hold short. We advised them that we had already crossed the hold short line. Tower then cleared us for an immediate takeoff.
