Narrative:
At FL350 northeast of iad, va, talking to ZNY, heard a thud in the aft cabin. Simultaneously, the cabin light and horn came on. Cabin altitude climbed to FL200. Donned masks and declared emergency and advised ATC of our descent. Ran checklist and failed to get control of the cabin at FL180, in automatic and manual mode. Descended to 10000 ft and regained control of cabin in both manual and automatic modes. Cabin stabilized at 4000 ft and 2.5 psi. Found no abnormal indications and felt safety of flight was assured. Canceled our emergency status. Continued on to destination (pdk). Supplemental information from acn 568521: we found no abnormal indications at 10000 ft and felt that the safety of flight was assured. We were able to maintain 4000 ft cabin altitude at 10000 ft MSL at 2.5 psi differential. We canceled our emergency status with center and continued on to destination (pdk) at 10000 ft MSL.
