Narrative:
Aircraft was parked in the jfk ramp. Parking brake was set and wheels chocked. No passenger on board aircraft. We had been towed into parking due to ice. We were preparing for the flight to bos when the aircraft boarding stairs were struck by a passenger bus, driving the stairs into the side of the aircraft fuselage. The aircraft was displaced from its parked position to the right approximately 1 1/2 - 3 ft. Base operations was immediately contacted. There were no injuries apparent at the time. After exiting the aircraft, damage was noted in front of and behind the passenger door. The door was closed at the time of the event. Factors contributing to the event were the icy ramp conditions.
