Narrative:

While taxiing out at dfw, ground control notified us to call company. Ramp told us that someone noticed a plastic bag ingested into the right engine and wanted us to return and have maintenance inspect the engine. The plastic bag was removed and inspection revealed nothing else. We got some more fuel and departed. Shortly after takeoff, the flight attendant in the rear called and said there was strong fumes with a haze in the cabin and getting worse. I decided to return for landing at dfw. The crash fire rescue equipment equipment was requested and I briefed the flight attendants and the passenger. After lng, crash fire rescue equipment inspected the aircraft and found no sign of damage, smoke or fire. I proceeded to the gate.
