Narrative:
Everything was normal until we shut the engines down and felt the aircraft shudder. We had sucked a heat cart hose into the #1 engine dragging the cart into the safety zone and about 1 ft from the intake of the engine. The ramp was ice covered. The marshaler had stopped us about 1 wheel length past the stop line. I believe the hose from the cart was not stowed correctly (ie, left laying on the ground) and a combination of moderate wind, ice covered ramp and suction from the engine, as well as parking past the line contributed to this incident.
