Narrative:

On rollout, I noted to flight attendant #1 of air leak at 1R galley door. We both decided it would correct once aircraft pressurized. On takeoff, #1 flight attendant noticed door handle move upward, air leak had ceased. He called cockpit who had just noticed light indicating something wrong with 1R galley door. We landed, clear conditions but windy. Full load, full cargo, and full fuel load. Mechanic checked door which had not been properly put in locked position. Assured us door would not have opened, but as flight attendants, we never knew that. Brakes, etc, had to be checked before aircraft ready for new departure.
