Narrative:
The station runway condition and braking action reports on the station information on the flight release papers were not at all accurate for this station for our flight, the runways were in extremely poor condition and not cleared or cleaned off as was given to us that morning. When we arrived at dtw the tower wanted us to be the first to land on an unplowed runway and be the test WX ship. Braking action on two of the other runways were reported as poor, and only one good runway that we could land on due to high xwinds and limitations which were radioed to us as fair. In summation, station personnel or whomever should accurately update the runway condition reports in a timely manner, and the tower should report accurately the condition of the runways, and third, the runways should be plowed and cleared, full length, not just in the touchdown zone. This will get somebody someday.
