Narrative:
I had paperwork for aco X. The aco called for installing a new module if the one on the aircraft was not a modified type. After reading the paperwork, I installed the new module. Later that night, I went back over the aco paperwork again. I found out that the way the paperwork was written, it was wrong and misleading. I thought the new module was configured for installation and not needing anything else, but learning later it was also to come with a new installation kit, which was to have a new line and fitting. When I picked up the module from stores, the module didn't have anything with it.
