Narrative:
I discovered a possible far violation (less than 24 hours of crew rest in 7 days) after talking with a union representative on jan/tue/03 at XA45 CST. I was rerted from pairing XXXX on jan/wed/03, which was my 6TH consecutive duty day. My original schedule on that day was to fly 1 leg ZZZ-ZZZ1, followed by deadhead ZZZ1-ZZZ2 to end the pairing. At ZZZ, scheduling rerted me to fly ZZZ1-ZZZ3. While still at ZZZ1, I reminded scheduling that jan/wed/03 was my 6TH consecutive duty day and asked how they were going to return me to ZZZ2. They said I would deadhead ZZZ3-ZZZ2. There was a disconnect. However, as we talked in ZZZ, before I flew ZZZ-ZZZ3, scheduling said flight was running late, and I would make the connection. When we arrived in ZZZ3, the connecting flight had already departed. I called scheduling again from ZZZ3, and they assigned me to deadhead ZZZ3-ZZZ2. I was released from the deadhead and jumpseated home on jan/thu/03.
