I was given radar advisories to madison, ind, and ran out of fuel 5 mi out. Entered clouds at 5100 ft and descended to 700 ft above surface in clear. Made normal approach to landing in soybean field, with no damage to aircraft (flat nose tire). I have no instrument rating.
