Narrative:
During takeoff at approximately 90 KTS, the master caution light and engine annunciation light illuminated. We aborted the takeoff without further incident. I elected to return to the gate as a precautionary measure, allowing the brakes and tires to cool and be inspected. Maintenance did a check and determined that the pitot switches were off. During the after start checklist, I interpreted the probe heat lights for the engine anti-ice lights which were on for the icing conditions. Other contributing factors were the reduced visibility which required increased vigilance outside the aircraft during taxi.
