Narrative:
After takeoff, approximately 5-10 mins out of sfo (FL180), a bunch of balloons were sucked into the right engine causing the plane to shudder and fill the cabin with a rubber smell. The pilot informed us we would be turning around to check to make sure everything was ok. Everything checked out and we continued on to dallas fort worth.
