Narrative:
On descent, captain informed crew they were not sure if we had r-hand side landing gear. Evacuate/evacuation possible. We performed our emergency checklist, briefing and reseating passenger. Cockpit crew manually got landing gear down. We were unsure if it was locked in place. Landed without incident.

Title: AN MD80 FLT ATTENDANT RPTED THAT THE CAPT INSTRUCTED THE CABIN CREW TO PREPARE FOR AN EVAC AFTER LNDG AT ORD, DUE TO A R-HAND MAIN GEAR PROB.
Narrative: ON DSCNT, CAPT INFORMED CREW THEY WERE NOT SURE IF WE HAD R-HAND SIDE LNDG GEAR. EVAC POSSIBLE. WE PERFORMED OUR EMER CHKLIST, BRIEFING AND RESEATING PAX. COCKPIT CREW MANUALLY GOT LNDG GEAR DOWN. WE WERE UNSURE IF IT WAS LOCKED IN PLACE. LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT.
