Narrative:
After diverting from lga back to dca, ATC asked us to take a vector and slow for spacing. We told them that we were diverting to dca and took the vector, but told them we were unable to slow for fuel purposes. They asked us if we were declaring minimum fuel or a fuel emergency. We told ATC that we were not at this time. They cleared us on course and sent us to the next sector.
