Narrative:
Captain was taxiing to runway 25L in mke via runway 31. Tower advised we were to follow company who was on taxiway M. We acknowledged. We started to 'make turn' from runway 31 towards runway 25L when we noticed there was no hold line. We stopped and noticed blue taxiway lights perpendicular to us. We saw company to our right and let them pass us onto runway . Tower then had a dornier 328 pass us for departure. As we were cleared to taxi into position and hold, I looked back at runway 31 and saw a partially obscured by snow hold line. The tower gave us clearance as we were (captain and I) querying whether to contact tower. We did not block taxiway M and were not on runway 25L. We noted this hold line is not depicted on airport diagram.

Title: A DC9 FLT CREW ACCIDENTALLY CROSSES AN OBSCURED RWY HOLD LINE.
Narrative: CAPT WAS TAXIING TO RWY 25L IN MKE VIA RWY 31. TWR ADVISED WE WERE TO FOLLOW COMPANY WHO WAS ON TXWY M. WE ACKNOWLEDGED. WE STARTED TO 'MAKE TURN' FROM RWY 31 TOWARDS RWY 25L WHEN WE NOTICED THERE WAS NO HOLD LINE. WE STOPPED AND NOTICED BLUE TXWY LIGHTS PERPENDICULAR TO US. WE SAW COMPANY TO OUR R AND LET THEM PASS US ONTO RWY . TWR THEN HAD A DORNIER 328 PASS US FOR DEP. AS WE WERE CLRED TO TAXI INTO POS AND HOLD, I LOOKED BACK AT RWY 31 AND SAW A PARTIALLY OBSCURED BY SNOW HOLD LINE. THE TWR GAVE US CLRNC AS WE WERE (CAPT AND I) QUERYING WHETHER TO CONTACT TWR. WE DID NOT BLOCK TXWY M AND WERE NOT ON RWY 25L. WE NOTED THIS HOLD LINE IS NOT DEPICTED ON ARPT DIAGRAM.
