Narrative:

While on an IFR flight plan from 55J to srq, approximately 35 mi east of ocala, I experienced smoke in the cabin. I immediately shut my electrical system off. (I knew it was an electrical burning system.) I asked ZJX for vectors to the closest airport after declaring an emergency. ATC was very helpful in directing me to gnv. I was cleared to runway 28. The mechanic at ZZZ determined the problem to be my #2 radio. It was removed, all system were checked again, and we continued to srq VFR uneventfully.
