Narrative:
Crew did preflight in hangar. Sic used tug and tow bar to remove aircraft from hangar. When sic disconnected tug from tow bar he received a cell phone call. After the interruption, he neglected to remove the tow bar from aircraft. As PIC, I did not walk around the front of the airplane before departure. Taxi and takeoff were normal, after rotation the airplane yawed hard to the right. After recovery I did not make any confign changes to the airplane. Landing gear down and flaps at takeoff setting. We proceeded to the nearest airport with crash fire rescue equipment equipment and landed without incidence. No damage was done to the airplane. Supplemental information from acn 576378: regained control, called fort wayne departure, requested emergency assistance. Proceeded to fwa, landed without incidence on runway 23. Aircraft was inspected by local maintenance facility. No damage found.
