Narrative:
2 air carrier X rj's overnight in far, as do 2 crews. We were the second crew out in the morning. The first crew out took the wrong airplane, leaving us to fly the wrong airplane. I did not catch the discrepancy between the airplane's tail number and the tail number on the release.

Title: A CL65 FLT CREW FAILING TO NOTE THAT THEIR RELEASE CARRIED THE WRONG ACFT N-NUMBER TAKES THE WRONG NUMBERED ACFT OUT ON THEIR SCHEDULED FLT FROM FAR, ND.
Narrative: 2 ACR X RJ'S OVERNIGHT IN FAR, AS DO 2 CREWS. WE WERE THE SECOND CREW OUT IN THE MORNING. THE FIRST CREW OUT TOOK THE WRONG AIRPLANE, LEAVING US TO FLY THE WRONG AIRPLANE. I DID NOT CATCH THE DISCREPANCY BTWN THE AIRPLANE'S TAIL NUMBER AND THE TAIL NUMBER ON THE RELEASE.
