Narrative:
Cockpit door swung open during takeoff out of new orleans. Switch was then found to be in the off position. I will include the red switch in my scan when I call cockpit door closed and secured as well from now on.

Title: B737 COCKPIT DOOR OPENS DURING TAKE OFF ROLL.
Narrative: COCKPIT DOOR SWUNG OPEN DURING TAKEOFF OUT OF NEW ORLEANS. SWITCH WAS THEN FOUND TO BE IN THE OFF POS. I WILL INCLUDE THE RED SWITCH IN MY SCAN WHEN I CALL COCKPIT DOOR CLOSED AND SECURED AS WELL FROM NOW ON.
