Narrative:
On mar/sat/03 and mar/sun/03, we flew 2 flts (1 each day) into and out of moses lake, wa. On both occasions, we landed on runway 4, and 1 departure was on runway 22. While preparing for departure on mar/sun/03, we noticed that the southeast 4400 ft of runway 4-22 was closed to jet traffic, leaving approximately 5600 ft of runway available. Both takeoffs and lndgs were made using this 'closed to jet traffic' portion of the runway. Our last takeoff was made on runway 13L after discovering our mistake. We discovered this closed portion while looking at the commercial chart airport page. It would be helpful if this closure was more prominently displayed on the chart. In addition, additional runway markings might help alert pilots to this situation. Possibly dashed white markings similar to hold short markings. Also, 'no jet operations' might be added to the white markings on the no operations side of the runway.

Title: B737-200 FLT CREW LAND AND TKOF ON CLOSED RWYS AT MWH. RPTR QUESTIONS COMPANY CLOSURE CHARTING DOCUMENTATION.
Narrative: ON MAR/SAT/03 AND MAR/SUN/03, WE FLEW 2 FLTS (1 EACH DAY) INTO AND OUT OF MOSES LAKE, WA. ON BOTH OCCASIONS, WE LANDED ON RWY 4, AND 1 DEP WAS ON RWY 22. WHILE PREPARING FOR DEP ON MAR/SUN/03, WE NOTICED THAT THE SE 4400 FT OF RWY 4-22 WAS CLOSED TO JET TFC, LEAVING APPROX 5600 FT OF RWY AVAILABLE. BOTH TKOFS AND LNDGS WERE MADE USING THIS 'CLOSED TO JET TFC' PORTION OF THE RWY. OUR LAST TKOF WAS MADE ON RWY 13L AFTER DISCOVERING OUR MISTAKE. WE DISCOVERED THIS CLOSED PORTION WHILE LOOKING AT THE COMMERCIAL CHART ARPT PAGE. IT WOULD BE HELPFUL IF THIS CLOSURE WAS MORE PROMINENTLY DISPLAYED ON THE CHART. IN ADDITION, ADDITIONAL RWY MARKINGS MIGHT HELP ALERT PLTS TO THIS SIT. POSSIBLY DASHED WHITE MARKINGS SIMILAR TO HOLD SHORT MARKINGS. ALSO, 'NO JET OPS' MIGHT BE ADDED TO THE WHITE MARKINGS ON THE NO OPS SIDE OF THE RWY.
