Narrative:
Ground agents asked me if there were too many bags in cargo hold. I said yes, and to remove 5 bags to bring total weight to 1970 pounds, which is under the 1980 limit. The ramp agent indicated they did this, and we proceeded ZZZZ our destination. A destination airport agent said seattle called and stated we exceeded the cargo limit. They were mistaken, because the agent in seattle didn't change the bag count on the load manifest after they pulled the 5 bags. I know this was accomplished, because I helped them put the bags inside the cabin in the overhead bins. The error took place on the load manifest by the seattle agent not changing the worksheet to reflect the removal of those 5 bags. I believe the aircraft was loaded within limits, and a paper error was all that took place. I will in the future, continue to check to see if the load sheet is in accordance to our procedures, and that the ground agent concurs with all changes.

Title: FLT CREW OF MDT ADVISED ON ARR AT DEST THAT WT MANIFEST WAS IN ERROR. SHOWED EXCESSIVE WT IN AFT CARGO, WHICH HAD BEEN REMOVED PRIOR TO DEP.

THE RAMP AGENT INDICATED THEY DID THIS, AND WE PROCEEDED ZZZZ OUR DEST. A DEST ARPT AGENT SAID SEATTLE CALLED AND STATED WE EXCEEDED THE CARGO LIMIT. I BELIEVE THE ACFT WAS LOADED WITHIN LIMITS, AND A PAPER ERROR WAS ALL THAT TOOK PLACE. I WILL IN THE FUTURE, CONTINUE TO CHK TO SEE IF THE LOAD SHEET IS IN ACCORDANCE TO OUR PROCS, AND THAT THE GND AGENT CONCURS WITH ALL CHANGES.
