Narrative:

On my work shift, I was performing l-hand main gear strut repack per maintenance manual 32-11-02. I was not going to get it completed on my work shift. While writing my shift turnover and document in the logbook, I missed a step in the maintenance manual to perform adjustment/test weight on wheel proximity sensor test (maintenance manual 32-60-05 page 201). The aircraft was dispatched back into service after the maintenance and incurred discrepancies. A maintenance crew was dispatched to troubleshoot the discrepancies and found l-hand main landing gear proximity sensor was out of adjustment. The maintenance crew adjusted proximity sensor and performed the test. No other discrepancies noted.
