Narrative:

Landing gear failed to retract on takeoff leg, returned for normal landing. In accordance with checklist, autobrakes deselected. Upon touchdown, autobrakes engaged in maximum mode. No annunciation for autobrake selection was observed prior to touchdown. I wrote up the landing gear malfunction, but did not include the brake problem. Upon reflection, I should have included it as well. The mechanics did a complete check of landing gear and brakes.
