Narrative:
Aircraft was mechanical with right engine low pressure indication. Mechanics were sent to ZZZ on flight Y to repair flight X. Aircraft was released 35 mins later, but dispatcher was not notified. Maintenance control advised coordinator of new MEL added to aircraft MEL #36-13-05C. Coordinator handed MEL number to dispatchers during shift turnover debriefing. Flight had already departed ZZZ 1 hour before and was airborne, as the dispatchers were discussing the open dispatch release. The flight departed with dispatcher's knowledge and was beyond the 1-HR redispatch requirement. At no time was release of aircraft in ZZZ advised to dispatchers. Concurrence of new MEL between captain/dispatcher not received. Upon arrival ZZZ1, contact was made between captain and myself. I advised captain to file a simultaneous NASA report and contact chief pilot.
