Narrative:
Taxi to runway 9L. Significant construction near the end of the runway. Most of old hold short line had been torn up by construction. New hold short line visible at approach end of runway 12. Remained clear of the new runway 12 hold short line and remained well clear of runway 9L until cleared into position. After being cleared into position on runway 9L noticed that part of the 'old' runway 9L/12 hold short line remained (we had taxied past it). No comment from tower on our holding position and I am still not sure if I taxied past the 'official' hold short point for runway 9L.
