Narrative:
At the time of the incident, I was cruising at 1500 ft MSL en route to the san juan islands for a pleasure trip. I was monitoring 121.5 when I was contacted (once who was not idented), and advised to contact whidbey approach. I contacted whidbey and was advised I had just flown through a tfr, given a squawk code and flight following. At this point, I realized the mistake I had made. I had done my preflight, checked WX, local NOTAMS, and fdc advisories. Obviously, the mistake was caused by my lack of attention. I read the pages of NOTAMS and advisories, but assumed the tfr was the same as a previous one in a nearby location. I did not take the time to map it out. I will definitely be more careful in the future, but I believe it would greatly enhance safety and limit violations if the tfrs were displayed in multiple manners, ie, visually mapped out, perhaps have a website just for such critical information.
