Narrative:
After receiving all of his training in a B757-200, a new first officer was assigned a B757-300 on his first trip. A bounced landing resulted in tailskid contact with the runway. Aircraft operators should insure that trainees get adequate instruction in all models of the aircraft they will fly and that other crew members are aware of the experience level of their fellow crew member.
