Narrative:
On air carrier rack, the oil tank was received without the quantity transmitter. The tank normally comes assembled and complete, but due to lengthy parts order time for the quantity transmitter, and production turn time goals, the tank was mounted to facilitate engine buildup completion. I installed the quantity transmitter later. Air carrier later found the shop order for the tank inside, after engine operation.
