Narrative:
On a short local flight for proficiency purposes, I approached sck via eca VORTAC. Contacted sck (norcal) approach about 16 mi southwest at 3600 ft descending from 4500 ft (with ATIS Y). Handed off to sck with expected left base to runway 29L. Sck extended my base to allow touch and go traffic to sequence in first, cleared #2 for runway 29L. Cleared for the option runway 29L. I turned a long base (3 mi), but lined up on runway 29R. I continued the approach and landed. Tower asked for confirmation of the runway I landed on which I did, realizing then the error. Tower informed me this was his ILS runway, but allowed another option to runway 29R and I requested, received, and executed option to runway 29L. Departed airport and area from runway 29L. Factors: unfamiliar with airport, low recent flying time, distracted by switch to extended base. I goofed. Only 1 other GA in area.
