Narrative:
After departing dfw class B airspace en route from dto to sgr, approximately 1 hour after departure, I encountered an F16 interceptor. I then tuned my radios to 121.5 and was instructed to contact waco approach. I was then vectored into waco where I was interviewed by a secret service agent. He told me 'I came within 1 1/2 mi of the restr airspace.' my flight path was to take me close to, but clear of, the P49 airspace. Visibility was limited due to haze and sun low on horizon but my GPS indicated that I was on course. I was aware of the P49 space and did not intend to enter it. If I did enter it (and I question whether I did), it was unintentional. I intend to maintain flight following in this area in the future to avoid a repeat of this problem.

Title: PA28 PLT WAS INTERCEPTED BY A MIL F16 FOR COMING WITHIN ONE AND ONE HALF MI OF P49.
Narrative: AFTER DEPARTING DFW CLASS B AIRSPACE ENRTE FROM DTO TO SGR, APPROX 1 HR AFTER DEP, I ENCOUNTERED AN F16 INTERCEPTOR. I THEN TUNED MY RADIOS TO 121.5 AND WAS INSTRUCTED TO CONTACT WACO APCH. I WAS THEN VECTORED INTO WACO WHERE I WAS INTERVIEWED BY A SECRET SVC AGENT. HE TOLD ME 'I CAME WITHIN 1 1/2 MI OF THE RESTR AIRSPACE.' MY FLT PATH WAS TO TAKE ME CLOSE TO, BUT CLR OF, THE P49 AIRSPACE. I INTEND TO MAINTAIN FLT FOLLOWING IN THIS AREA IN THE FUTURE TO AVOID A REPEAT OF THIS PROB.
