Narrative:
I was northbound in J3 cub about 600-700 ft AGL and 1/2 mi south of closed stone mountain airport (formerly ooa). Suddenly snj aircraft appeared 400 ft or so ahead in a near vertical climb. Snj had apparently buzzed the closed airstrip in opposite direction and made pull up to about 1000 ft AGL. I don't think he ever saw me. Snj was yellow and I had a close view of the belly. I observed the snj depart toward pdk airport. I monitored pdk tower and heard him report east of pdk. Contributing factor was low level aerobatic maneuver by snj without clearing the area. He was much lower than me and approaching head on before steep pull up. As soon as he appeared in my windshield, I banked hard right and descended.

Title: J3 PLT HAS NMAC ACFT PERFORMING ACROBATIC MANEUVER.
Narrative: I WAS NBOUND IN J3 CUB ABOUT 600-700 FT AGL AND 1/2 MI S OF CLOSED STONE MOUNTAIN ARPT (FORMERLY OOA). SUDDENLY SNJ ACFT APPEARED 400 FT OR SO AHEAD IN A NEAR VERT CLB. SNJ HAD APPARENTLY BUZZED THE CLOSED AIRSTRIP IN OPPOSITE DIRECTION AND MADE PULL UP TO ABOUT 1000 FT AGL. I DON'T THINK HE EVER SAW ME. SNJ WAS YELLOW AND I HAD A CLOSE VIEW OF THE BELLY. I OBSERVED THE SNJ DEPART TOWARD PDK ARPT. I MONITORED PDK TWR AND HEARD HIM RPT E OF PDK. CONTRIBUTING FACTOR WAS LOW LEVEL AEROBATIC MANEUVER BY SNJ WITHOUT CLRING THE AREA. HE WAS MUCH LOWER THAN ME AND APCHING HEAD ON BEFORE STEEP PULL UP. AS SOON AS HE APPEARED IN MY WINDSHIELD, I BANKED HARD R AND DSNDED.
