Narrative:
I drove up to twitchell airport and rented a seaplane. I flew straight to my house on little sebago lake. My son wanted to go for a float plane ride. My son and I got in the plane and departed my lake and we flew wbound to frye's island. We flew over the ferry terminal and saw the ferry boat. I continued wbound a couple of mi then turned north and continued up the lake. We saw a lot of boating activity as it was sunday. Approximately 2 mi from sebago state park a jet flew directly over me. He came up on my right side and I immediately acknowledged him. I knew a government official was in town and that the restr airspace is increased. I knew that from my house over was not in this area. However, it is a little close but not into the dashed line. As I flew over frey's island I reminded myself of this fact. I may have misread the chart as it is difficult and confusing to read in this particular area. The airplane I rented has basic instruments and no navigation instruments. I relied on pilotage. I do wish the chart was easier to interpret. If I was to do this again I would buy a GPS so I would stay out of the tfr by several mi. After I landed, I talked with secret service and they called me back and said I could fly the plane back to twitchell 3b5.

Title: SMA SEAPLANE PLT BLUNDERED INTO A GOV OFFICIAL TFR.
Narrative: I DROVE UP TO TWITCHELL ARPT AND RENTED A SEAPLANE. I FLEW STRAIGHT TO MY HOUSE ON LITTLE SEBAGO LAKE. MY SON WANTED TO GO FOR A FLOAT PLANE RIDE. MY SON AND I GOT IN THE PLANE AND DEPARTED MY LAKE AND WE FLEW WBOUND TO FRYE'S ISLAND. WE FLEW OVER THE FERRY TERMINAL AND SAW THE FERRY BOAT. I CONTINUED WBOUND A COUPLE OF MI THEN TURNED N AND CONTINUED UP THE LAKE. WE SAW A LOT OF BOATING ACTIVITY AS IT WAS SUNDAY. APPROX 2 MI FROM SEBAGO STATE PARK A JET FLEW DIRECTLY OVER ME. HE CAME UP ON MY R SIDE AND I IMMEDIATELY ACKNOWLEDGED HIM. I KNEW A GOV OFFICIAL WAS IN TOWN AND THAT THE RESTR AIRSPACE IS INCREASED. I KNEW THAT FROM MY HOUSE OVER WAS NOT IN THIS AREA. HOWEVER, IT IS A LITTLE CLOSE BUT NOT INTO THE DASHED LINE. AS I FLEW OVER FREY'S ISLAND I REMINDED MYSELF OF THIS FACT. I MAY HAVE MISREAD THE CHART AS IT IS DIFFICULT AND CONFUSING TO READ IN THIS PARTICULAR AREA. THE AIRPLANE I RENTED HAS BASIC INSTS AND NO NAV INSTS. I RELIED ON PILOTAGE.
