Narrative:

On jun/fri/03 approximately XA30 am PDT, I landed my helicopter at the northeast over-run at sql. I needed to submit my paperwork to the aviation museum people. I ran (on foot) across the grass safety area at the end of runway 30 to give the papers to whom I thought were museum personnel. There were no aircraft on the runway for takeoff nor were there any aircraft on final for runway 30. The people I thought were the museum people turned out to be airport mgrs who cited me for a runway incursion, escorted me to the office, and photocopied my driver's license. The problem: ignorance on my part. Solution: don't cross ctrlines without ATC clearance.
